    • The first time you use the website, select Sign Up to create your account. Select Attendance then Report an Absence.
  • Interactive Toll-free Phone: 1-833-244-5565

Absences can be reported in advance:

· 24 hours/day

· 7 days a week

· For any school day in the school term

· Up to the cut-off time on the day of the absence

If you have any questions or require more information, please do not hesitate to contact the office at 403-948-5922

When your child is absent and unaccounted for, our automated attendance system will try to reach you. In order to facilitate this process, please ensure that you notify the school of any changes in your contact information.

If your child will be absent for several days, please notify the teacher and the office in advance.

Please make every effort to plan vacations during school holidays so that students do not miss important instruction.

School Supplies

Parents are advised that school supplies for students in Grades K - 4 will be provided by the School. This model will ensure that students have access to identical supplies and cuts down on class time needed to organize and store each student’s supplies.  It also eliminates the issue of parents not being able to find requested items.

Grade 5 Students are required to provide their own school supplies. A list will be provided to students as well as be available at Staples.

Please don’t hesitate to call the school at 403-948-5922 if you have any questions.

Volunteer Information

Parent volunteers are a valued and important part of our school community. Per Policy GBCD, all volunteers in RVS as part of a classroom, school or system-wide program are required to submit Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks prior to the start of volunteer activities.

In Airdrie, the RCMP will complete this for a nominal fee with the appropriate documentation. Forms are available at the school office.
