Bonne année 3/4BL!

Hoping that everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable break!  Les chefs, j'espère que vous continuez à être respectueux, responsable, sécuritaire et que vous êtes toujours en bonne santé!

As part of our Outdoor Pursuits Unit in Physical Education, our class will be skating in January and February.  We will depart from the school 30 minutes prior to our ice time to have enough time to walk to the rink and tie up skates.

The ice space may be divided to allow separate areas for varying skill levels from beginner to advanced.  For safety reasons, all students must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet (please check the expiry date), properly fitted skates and gloves or mitts.  Without all three of these items, students will not be permitted to come skating.  Please contact me as soon as possible if your child needs to borrow an approved helmet or skates.  We have a limited number, so the sooner we know the better.  Any families that have extras of any of these items and wish to donate them for the months of January and February, please let me know.  Parent volunteers will be required to tie and untie skates and to assist with supervision on the ice.  A reminder that all parents and relatives who wish to volunteer must have a current Criminal Record Check on file here at school.  Volunteers must provide a QR code proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test.  Lastly, all volunteers must wear a mask when assisting students and when on the ice.  You will be able to fill in your consent form and your volunteer form on School Cash Online.

Should you have further questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact me.  Thank you for your continued support.
